2 Bridges were curved CIP post-tensioned concrete box girders continuous in two 54m spans supported on single monolithic telescopic pier. The superstructure of the other 6 bridges are precast posttensioned girders spliced together to provide continuity with integral piers. The multi-column piers have different aesthetical features aesthetically. The abutments were spill-through, or closed conventionally or embedded with MSE walls. Another bridges is spanning over seasonal high speed streams, they are continuous 3 spans Box Beams Bridge. The bridges are aligned in different geometry, skews and curvatures. The main challenges in these bridges are: integral and semi integral bridges as new experience in KSA, comparable designs towards cost savings, sea water at or close to the foundations with high concentrations of chlorides and sulphates
Key Experience: Over 18 accumulated years of experience participated in more than 45 projects, with unique engineering opportunity working in projects in different countries and consultants, with diversity of bridge spans and engineering aspects. * Please have a look to the projects photos using the OLDER POST link down below.
